Senior League Tennis State Championship |

The 2010
USTA Georgia Senior League Tennis State Championship has
arrived. The Columbus Regional Tennis
Association (CORTA) will be hosting the captain’s registration
and meeting for the Senior Men and Women 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5
levels at the DoubleTree hotel. The registration will begin at
6:00 pm on Thursday, June 3rd and the captain’s
meeting will follow at 7:00 pm. |
Play will begin at all sites at 8:00 am on Friday, June 4th. Captain’s
need to attempt to have their players on site 30 minutes prior
to each match, at which time the scorecard should be turned in
to the site director. |

All matches
will be played on Clay courts
and Penn has graciously donated all of the balls for the event.
The Dr. Pepper Snapple group is providing all of the drinks for
the volunteers, and T-Mobile has provided phones for the staff
and volunteers to communicate. |

The
Columbus Regional Tennis Association
will
be having their "famous" Luncheon on Saturday, June 5th
beginning around 11:30 am and going on until 3:00 pm. Lunch
will be served at Cooper Creek Tennis Center on Site “A”, near
the stadium court. Make sure you inform your players and guests
so they don't miss it. |
